Description

Arenaria verna 'Irish Moss' is a low-growing, mat-forming evergreen ground cover plant. It is native to Europe and is named for its dense, moss-like foliage that forms a dense carpet of green. The plant produces small, white, star-shaped flowers in the spring, adding to its ornamental appeal. It is hardy and can tolerate a wide range of growing conditions, from full sun to partial shade. It is drought-tolerant and low maintenance, making it an ideal choice for rock gardens, pathways, or as a filler between stepping stones. With its ability to form a dense, weed-resistant ground cover, Arenaria verna 'Irish Moss' is also a popular choice for gardeners looking for an attractive, low-maintenance alternative to traditional lawns.
